1. Information we collect

Whisker Woods does not collect, store, transmit, or share any personal information from you or your child. That includes, but isn't limited to:

• Names, birthdates, email addresses, or any other identifying information
• Photos, audio, video, or location data
• Device identifiers used for advertising or tracking
• Usage analytics, crash reports tied to an identifiable device, or behavioral data sent to us or anyone else

When you choose an age mode (Baby, Toddler, or Preschooler) on first launch, that selection is stored only on your device. It is never sent anywhere.

2. Children's privacy

Whisker Woods is designed for children ages 6 months through 6 years and is listed in Apple's Kids Category. We built this app around a simple principle: the safest way to handle children's data is to never collect it in the first place.

We comply with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) and Apple's Kids Category guidelines by design — not by policy alone. There is no account creation, no chat or messaging feature, no user-generated content, and no way for a child (or anyone) to submit personal information through the app.

3. Third-party services

Whisker Woods does not integrate any third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking software development kits (SDKs). We do not use services such as Google Analytics, Firebase Analytics, Facebook SDK, or any comparable tool. No data is shared with advertisers, data brokers, or any other third party, because no data is collected to share in the first place.

4. What's stored on your device

The only information Whisker Woods stores is kept locally on your device using standard iOS storage, and is never transmitted anywhere:

• Your selected age mode (Baby, Toddler, or Preschooler)
• Sound/mute preference
• Today's play time, shown only to you in the Parent Corner
• Which garden elements have been discovered during play

Deleting the app removes all of this data permanently. We have no copy of it anywhere, because it was never sent to us.

5. In-app purchases

If you choose to unlock additional garden themes, that purchase is processed entirely by Apple through the App Store's standard payment system. We do not receive, see, or store your payment information — Apple handles billing according to its own privacy practices.

6. Internet connection

Whisker Woods does not require an internet connection to function and does not make network requests during normal use. Every feature — the garden, the age modes, the Parent Corner — works fully offline.

7. Your rights and choices

Because we don't collect any data, there is nothing for us to access, correct, export, or delete on our end. Any information stored locally on your device is fully within your control — you can reset it at any time from the Parent Corner, or remove it entirely by deleting the app.

8. Changes to this policy

If this policy ever changes — for example, if a future update introduces a new feature — we will update the "last updated" date at the top of this page and, for any material change, reflect it clearly in the app's update notes on the App Store.
