📱 1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using PDF Lock: Unlock & Protect ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.

These Terms apply to all users of the App, including free-tier and Pro subscribers.

🔑 2. License

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the App on any Apple device you own or control, subject to these Terms and the Apple App Store Terms of Service.

• You may not copy, modify, reverse-engineer, or redistribute the App.
• You may not use the App for any unlawful purpose.
• You may not use the App to process documents you do not have the right to access.

⚡ 3. Free Plan

The free tier of PDF Lock: Unlock & Protect includes the following with limitations:

Daily limits reset at midnight local time. We reserve the right to adjust free-tier limits with reasonable notice.

🔄 5. Auto-Renewal & Cancellation

• Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period.
• Your Apple ID account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period.
• You can manage and cancel subscriptions in iOS Settings → [Your Name] → Subscriptions.
• No refunds are provided for unused portions of a subscription period, except where required by applicable law.
• Upon cancellation, Pro features remain available until the end of the paid period.

🔁 6. Restore Purchases

If you reinstall the App or switch devices, you can restore your subscription using the "Restore Purchases" button in the App. Your subscription is tied to your Apple ID.

🚫 7. Prohibited Use

You agree not to use PDF Lock: Unlock & Protect to:

• Process PDFs that you do not own or have explicit permission to access.
• Circumvent copyright protection or digital rights management.
• Engage in any activity that violates applicable law.
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or tamper with the App.

⚠️ 8. Disclaimer of Warranties

The App is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.

We do not warrant that the App will be error-free, uninterrupted, or free of viruses or other harmful components.

⚖️ 9. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, PDF Lock: Unlock & Protect and its developer shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of your use of the App, including but not limited to loss of data or documents.

Our total liability to you for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid for the App in the 12 months preceding the claim.

🔃 10. Changes to the App & Terms

We reserve the right to modify the App's features, pricing, or these Terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated through the App or via app update notes. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance.

🌐 11. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of India.
